Why I'm Running
As a community health advocate and a mom, I believe that every kid deserves to grow up healthy. That’s why I’ve dedicated my career to working with community partners and families to provide services to families whose kids need an extra hand. From my work reducing pre-term births by 30 percent at March of Dimes, to requiring testing of newborns for congenital heart defects, I’m proud of the work I’ve been part of for Nevada’s families. In fact, seeing the positive impacts this work had on families is what motivated me to run for the Assembly in 2018.
I am running for re-election because I want to continue to deliver for hardworking Nevada families. We made a lot of progress during the 2019 legislation session—from increasing our reliance on clean energy and expanding access to health care to giving teachers a well-deserved raise—but there’s more to do. I want to hear from you about how we move forward. I look forward to earning your support in the coming election cycle.
